About the role
As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will support one of business sectors providing commercial and financial insight, enabling our scientists and environmental consultants to produce more exceptional work for clients. You will have direct responsibility for the financial performance of your associated sector, overseeing pricing and ensuring performance to budget. Working with the senior management team, you will help and support strategy, using commercial insight to drive business planning. You will ensure the delivery of effective reporting and processes to support business objectives and help to drive operational performance.
Working with the wider business, you will prepare business cases to support investment, delivering monthly divisional forecasting and insightful analysis to MD and Board level. You will be a hands-on advisor and act as a critical friend, asking the right questions at the right time to help drive resolutions and escalations where required.
About you
You will have:
Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Previous experience of business partnering in a fast-growing business/business area (ideally commercially focused) Excellent stakeholder management, with experience working with senior stakeholders A solution-focused view, with confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels Ability to work autonomously and productively in a high-change environment Excellent data analytical skills (including financial modelling, scenario planning and strong Excel skills) Strong communication skills, able to adapt and present financial information to all audiences Desirable:
Experience working for a PE backed business Track record in identifying opportunities to support future growth and generate revenue Next steps
