Security Support Officer - South Yorkshire

This is a fantastic opportunity, working Monday - Friday (08:00-16:30), escorting contractors within a secured environment, ensuring their safety whilst they undertake their duties, vigilantly monitoring and taking inventory of their incoming and outgoing items.
How you will make an impact as a Security Support Officer:
Carrying out all assigned duties in a safe manner, observing all statutory regulations and any local regulations that may be in force.Escorting all contractors safely and securely at all times.Monitoring and accounting for all contractor tools and items, ensuring what comes into the secure environment, comes out.Vigilantly inspecting and maintaining the safety of the prison.Effectively communicating via radio/phone/tablets, escalating any issues that arise. Identify problems within own area of remit and take responsibility for finding a solution.Processing all relevant paperwork to the relevant people.Responsible for the external areas of the work zone, carrying out regular inspections.Ensure that all paperwork is handed to relevant people.Ensure that the work area is always in a safe & secure manner.Essential SkillsRight to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable employment historyNo current criminal convictionsFull UK driving licence and access to transportAble and willing to undergo enhanced screening and vetting checksExcellent people and communication skills Computer literate with high attention to detail Ability to work in a team, unsupervised and on own initiativeOrganised and able to work with confidential informationDesirable SkillsSIA Licence (Door Supervisor is preferred) About CompanyIntegrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness are the core values that Securitas is built on to shape a long-term, financially successful enterprise for our customers, employees, and shareholders.
