This Security Officer role operates across various locations and offers days only shift pattern to
suit your ideal work/life balance. NO WEEKENDS, NIGHTS OR BANK HOLIDAYS!
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (08:00-16:30)
The Opportunity:
To excel in this role, you will have munication skills and exhibit an approachable manner. We contribute our skills towards ensuring the safety and security of the public and the property.
The ideal candidate will be somebody who likes to be out and about, talking to people, promoting security culture and engaging with different people. You will have the freedom and flexibility to plan your days and routes within your working hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.
You will be provided with pany van to visit various locations across the Customer's geographical operating area conducting on-site physical security patrols and promoting a positive security culture through advice, guidance, and training.
No Working Weekends, No Nights & No Bank Holidays!!
Your Main Duties will include:
Conduct physical site security checksComplete and submit security event reports and physical security check recordsResponsible for regular checking / auditing of security and emergency response equipmentPhysical security presence at events (as directed)First line maintenance and fault finding of water industry specific security alarms (not intruder alarms)First line fault finding on Customer's security gatesAssist with the delivery of Customer's corporate security campaignLocal site operator and management liaisonPromotion of security throughout the Customer's geographical operating areaAdvise and help to establish the security of the sitesAssist with investigation of any breaches or possible areas where security could be breachedMake mendations to prevent further security incidentsBe prepared to respond to taskings at short noticeAssist with supervised access for security contractorsProvide advice and guidance to Customer staff (as directed)Essential SkillsValid SIA licenceMust be able to write clear and concise in-depth reports on investigative findings5-year checkable work historyExcellent customer service, people skills and time managementEagerness to learn and develop new skillsA clean and current driving licenceA very good knowledge of security proceduresBe able to work on own initiativeRemain calm under pressureGood knowledge of the Customer's geographical operating areaPossess a high level of security awareness and knowledge of terrorist threats/tacticsMust puter literateAbout CompanySecuritas Benefits:
