SRG is thrilled to be working with this highly innovative drug discovery biotech to support their search for a Scientist to support the In Vivo Pharmacology team. Our client develops novel first-in-class small molecule drugs for oncology and are already progressing their first clinical candidate to human trials very soon.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and direct external in vivo oncology studiesResponsible for the initiation of new studies and overseeing ongoing work and sample analyses.Plan and manage timelines, outline deliverables, coordinating work with CROs and internally, track the progress of the project.Plan in vivo studies in animals to select best models to deliver relevant data, detail experimental plans, coordinate post-study PK/PD and biomarker analysis.Analyse and present data in to both internal and external audiences and produce accurate scientific reports. Qualifications & skills required:
BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in a biology related disciplineExperience in performing and/or managing in vivo studiesGood understanding of guidelines in working with animalsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary teamAn organised, systematic and rigorous approach to work In return, our client can offer a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and successful team in Cambridge and excellent career development.
