Responsibilities:
Ensure you are aware of the galleries shared values and ensure they are implementedEnsure you provide a ing presence for all staff, guests and visitors entering the galleryEnsure you report for duty on time and are in the right position ready for the gallery openingTake responsibility for problems/issues that staff and visitors may haveBe able to work independently as well as part of a teamPrevent and deter unauthorized access to the siteTo provide a first-line response to incidents within the boundary of the galleries property line Ensure the entrances to the gallery are correctly set up ready for opening to the gallery each day and that all relevant equipment is correctly in placeHave the ability to carry out emergency procedures within the gallery including dynamic lockdownsConduct external and internal security patrols, ensuring they are carried out effectively and safelyCarry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all timesTo implement and adhere to any security requirement if a threat level is alteredTo respond to first aid incidents as and when required * Report instances of property at risk of being lost/stolen, damaged, or vandalised e Operate security equipment assigned to you correctlyConduct security searches when requested such as bag searching or screening of visitors and operating security search equipmentCarry out initial investigations and report both verbally and in writing on incidents, suspicious activities, objects and vehiclesRespond to panic alarm activations within the galleryRespond to calls for assistance when requested to do soAssist in salvage duties when requested to do soConduct fire marshal dutiesTo closely liaise with the Ops Support Supervisor / Security Team Leader / Duty Manager regarding operational matters cascading to team members where requiredTo ensure required your personal uniform standards are maintained and correct working equipment such as radios are issued and returned in full working plete accurate Incident/accident reports when required and maintain accurate recordsEssential SkillsCompetencies:
