Quality Engineer
Location: Emley Moor (Huddersfield) or Crawley Court (Winchester) with travel to other Arqiva, suppliers and customer sites where appropriate.
Role Profile
As a Quality Engineer you will be supporting the Quality Manager to develop, implement and assure our processes to deliver products and services to our stakeholders. This will include collaborative working with our supply chain to assure quality of products and services to Arqiva and our stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Support the Quality Manager to ensure Quality is embedded in our processes, and the controls are in place and sufficiently robust to deliver expected outputs and volumesAssuring the products and services are designed and built and transitioned in our operations are compliant and at the Acceptable Quality Levels, including supporting FMEAs and use statistical process techniquesTo be a resolver of quality issues in Problem Management and Supply Chain Assurance, leading 8Ds, utilising root cause analysis and statistical techniques to drive corrective actions through to effective implementationIdentify risk to Quality, ensuring these are captured, to take corrective actions or escalate as requiredWorking with our suppliers to develop and implementation of systems and controls to assure quality of product and services to Arqiva and our stakeholders utilising APQP techniquesAssuring that our suppliers have effective and scalable processes to meet our demands, including carrying out of supplier audits and statistical process techniques Must Haves or Required Expertise:
Excellent understanding of process validation, process control and statistical control Excellent understanding of 8D, RCA, FMEA, APQP Excellent knowledge of the suite of ISO Standards, specifically ISO 9001Experience in programme delivery and communication networks Might Haves
Experience in other technology or telecommunications industriesLean Six Sigma Green Belt / Continual ImprovementDeveloping SharePointIntegrated management systems, including experience or good working knowledge of ISOs 27001, 22301, 45001 or 14001Qualified and experienced ISO9001 auditor / lead auditor Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s): (IF APPLICABLE)
