Public Law Lawyer- DWP- Hybrid role based from any of the Leeds/London OR Bristol offices- 3 days home/2 days in office- 6 month contract- GBP26.25ph PAYE/GBP36 PH Umbrella Our client are looking for a number of Legal Advisors to join them supporting with general advisory work, working closely with regulators and other government departments, Bill work and drafting SIs as well as some high-profile litigation. This successful candidates will be considered for a range of ad-visory posts across DWP areas of responsibility, ranging from Pensions, Universal Credit, Housing, Euro-pean and International Law, Disability, Health and Child Maintenance, benefit procedures and Data Pro-tection/Sharing and Fraud. We are looking for qualified solicitor/barristers with excellent analytical and communication skills. We are looking for prior knowledge and experience of one or more of the following areas: general public law and good decision making by public bodies human rights judicial review data protection and information law the basics of EU law immigration law social security law, including statutory appeals related to welfare benefits for one of our teams knowledge of the legal issues surrounding delivery of Housing Benefit and the Housing Costs Element of Universal Credit would be desirable.
