Production Manager - Essex

Are you an experienced Production Manager and know how to manage production, procedures, and people plus an understanding of working with products,? If so, my client has an exciting opportunity for you to join the UK's leading card manufacturer Position Overview The Production Manager will organise and oversee all the aspects of Production efficiences and quality, as well as manage the resources that go into the manufactured products. Key Responsibilities - Adhere to all documented Company Quality System Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures when carrying out operational duties. - Drive the \"world class\" ethos throughout the sections. - Develop and implement a target/objective driven strategy. - Establish and maintain the culture of Lean throught the department - Induct business efficiency and identify areas for process improvements. - Present Cap-ex proposals to the directors. - Ensure smooth running of the production environment/teams. - Ensure staff development through personal reviews, coaching and training initiatives. Experience: - Experience of working in a production management/senior supervisory role. - Working within manufacturing for at least 2 years - Lean, 5s, Six-sigma knowledge highly desirable - Multi process production leader who can develop and initiate new business
