Procurement & Commercial Project Manager

Anderson Knight is currently engaged with a key client who is looking for an experienced Procurement and Commercial Standards Project Manager to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months. Based in Glasgow you will join the policy and compliance team. The successful candidate will work on projects such as GDPR, IR35, and Brexit liaising with internal stakeholders and cross-function work with legal and HR departments. The key duties of this role will include: • Manage projects related to procurement and commercial standards, including GDPR, IR35, and Brexit. • Develop and amend procurement and commercial policies, procedures and work instructions • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that projects meet their needs. • Liaise with legal and HR departments to ensure that all procurement and commercial standards are compliant. • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and progress reports. • Communicate project progress and issues to senior management and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills: • Strong experience in procurement and commercial standards, preferably in local government, councils, legal, or charity sectors. • Knowledge of GDPR, IR35, and Brexit. • Strong project management skills • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. • Policy and regulation focussed rather than contracts This is a unique opportunity within a large blue chip operation, to apply for this is excellent role please forward your CV in complete confidence
