The Firm: Our client, who are a multi-service practice recognised in the Legal Top 500, have been established for over 150 years and have built relationships with people and business in the Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire areas and beyond! They are trusted advisers who take the time to really understand their clients issues and are proud to have built a firm that's open, approachable and friendly. Is the role for you? Previous experience working within a Private Client department is preferred A sound knowledge of legal procedures specific to Private Client including the completion of forms Happy travelling between the firm's offices Computer skills Professional telephone manner and good people skills Accuracy and attention to detail Conscientious and methodical Steadiness under pressure What will be required from you? Dealing with general client enquiries Opening and managing files throughout the transaction Preparation of forms, documents, emails and letters Assist with house clearances Arranging funerals Progressing probate files Assisting with estate accounts Regular contact with clients and third parties Ensuring key dates are met Diary management Ensure the Wills/Deeds/LPA databases are updated at all times Assist the fee earners in ensuring Matter Lists are up to date Assistance with the financial management of fee earner's caseload, including debt recovery Regular travel between the firm's offices to attend to clients/support team members/attend marketing events. Organisation and attendance of marketing events in the local community Regular involvement in business development initiatives e.g. writing blogs, website articles etc Filing and post Copying and scanning Closing files Make full use of the Case Management System, Outlook, Word and other computer programs as appropriate What can the Firm offer you?
