Porsche Boxster 986 2.5L Gen1 V Series 1997 P Reg - 12 Months MOT, full respray

Absolutely fantastic nice and early gen1 V series car to drive and appreciate with complete body respray. Last 18 months extensive work completed (by garage and myself, all with receipts) and this is a sorted car.

Registered new 25/06/1997 by Lancaster Cambridge, Official Porsche Centre, Harston and serviced by themselves, Porsche AFN Reading and Porsche Guildford.

Drives fantastically

Electric roof works as it should with new hood window and relay

New front window screen

Both electric windows work as they should and drop / raise on opening and closing the door and drop opening roof

Excellent brakes (new front discs & pads)

Good wheels & 4 new tyres

Engine nice and smooth and accelerates exactly as it should

5 Speed - gearbox all nice and smooth

Key fobs / remote works as it should i.e. remote unlock / lock of car and the opening of the boot lid (2 button remote). Also bought a second new key fob as car only came with one.

No rips or tears in the leather seats

CD multi player under the bonnet but now not used as new stereo fitted

HPI checks completed by owner number three 01/04/2000 (passed) and myself 31/07/2021 (passed). Both prints out come with the car. The Vehicle Smart Report on 31/07/2021 comes with a comprehensive print out, along with all the MOT data.

V5C in my name at my address

4 previous owners. Previous lady owner had it for 17 years. Last 3 years of her ownership it sat unused before garage recommissioned it. Has had 7 years throughout it's 25 years life not used (DVLA MOT data shows this).

Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, drain holes checked to ensure clear (they were)

05/09/2022 - New Oil Air Seperator and pipe - garage fitted

04/08/2022 - 4 wheel alignment (was done 12/03/2022 when had 4 new tyres but as just had suspension components & track rods replaced 2 days ago, had done again)

10L Mobil 1 5W-30 ESP Advanced Full Synthetic Engine Oil, spark plugs, 6 new Ignition Coil Packs, Air Mass Flow Sensor (not a cheap one!), oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, wiper blades, drain holes checked to ensure clear (they were), drained cooling system, filled with distilled water, ran, drained then refilled with coolant.

28/01/2022 - Paint:
The bonnet, top of the wings and top edge of the bumper had lacquer peel. (Have photos before showing lacquer peel, rest of the car good). So decided to have the complete car painted professionally - Because of the lacquer peel, front end was taken back to bare metal then the complete car had a respray (have photos). They had the car 2 months (it was over xmas) and a fantastic job was done on my car. Wasn't cheap, you get what you pay for.

Everything works as it should except the passenger seat - electric recline not working (can move manually) - however I have a working 1997 seat motor that comes with the car for you to fit.

New Hood window professionally replaced (along with new hood relay). West Country Trimmers (Bovey Tracey) - confirmed this is an early car when he was working on the roof, confirmed early differences etc. Roof works perfectly. It has been thoroughly cleaned and a waterproof protector applied.

Remember this is a 25 year old Porsche, not perfect but good.

Headlamp had them professionally polished
