About this client:
Pauline is a friendly, chatty lady with a great sense of humour! She has a love for music, going shopping, and having coffee in town. As a result of sustaining a brain injury, Pauline is reliant on others to meet all her care, health, and medical needs. Pauline lives with her husband; their home is fully adapted to meet all of her needs. Pauline is a wheelchair user, she has Type 2 Diabetes and Osteopenia. She is supported by a small, dedicated home care team of Support Workers providing 2:1 care. The team is now expanding and we have 2 full-time roles available.
Overview of role:
We are looking for friendly caring Female* Support Workers to join Pauline’s friendly team and enable her to live as independently as possible. As Pauline’s Support Worker, you will be required to assist with personal care, all transfers, administering medication, and any practical and emotional support. You will be an advocate for Pauline, enabling her to live a fulfilling life and continue to participate in all activities and hobbies she enjoys engaging in. This is a full-time position with fixed shifts. Please state your availability when applying for this role. Flexibility required to cover sickness and annual leave.
Shifts available are from Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 1.00pm and 4.00pm to 10.00pm. On Wednesday and Sundays, the afternoon shifts are 6.00pm to 10.00pm. £15.00 gross per hour weekdays, £17.00 gross per hour weekends
