Online Secondary English Tuition - National 5 (N5) and Higher English

My name is Emma and I am a highly experienced Secondary English teacher, SQA marker and tutor offering online tuition to National 5 and Higher English candidates via Zoom.
I am GTCS registered and am a member of the PVG scheme. I have worked as a Secondary English teacher and tutor for 9 years and have been an SQA marker for Higher English: Critical Reading for 4 years. I regularly engage in cross-marking exercises at both National 5 and Higher level and, therefore, possess an excellent knowledge of the national standard/what is expected from the SQA.
It is approximately 8-10 weeks before the SQA examination diet begins - now is the right time if you are looking to help your child to gain confidence and become exam-ready with one-to-one support.
Sessions focus on the key areas your child is struggling with as well as revision of the texts your child is studying, therefore they are tailor-made to the needs of your child. Prior to beginning tutoring sessions, a complimentary phone consultation can determine the most appropriate and relevant aspects to focus on during sessions.
Hourly sessions are priced at £35 per hour.
