Online GCSE and A-Level English and Media Studies Tutor

Hello, thank you for reading my post.
I am a highly plished individual with a diverse background in English, Media Studies and education. After graduating from Portsmouth University with a degree in TV and Film, I went on to build an impressive 8-year career in sales and advertising, working for panies such as News UK, Northern and Shell, and Dennis Publishing.
I then decided to re-train as a teacher and started my career teaching English. I am currently Head of Media at an outstanding academy in South-East London. I am passionate about sharing my love of Media Studies and English with my students, as both subjects help to build critical thinking, analytical, and technical skills. My experience and specialist knowledge allows me to teach a range of subjects including Media Studies (KS4 & KS5), IB Film (KS5), and English (KS3 and KS4). I have taught across AQA, Eduqas and OCR.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing piano and reading. With my unique blend of professional experience, expertise, and passion for education, I am well-equipped to inspire and guide my students towards success.
Availability - Evenings - 1 hour sessions between 6pm - 9pm - Tues/Weds/Thurs (specific dates/times can be discussed)
Each week you will receive a short report of what your pleted during their tutoring session, as well as any results of tests/assessments. Homework will be set weekly and I will provide suitable resources, or advise resources you could buy to support your child.
I provide support for areas such as (not limited to):

+Comprehension and inference
+Essay structure and exam prep
+Support with school projects
+Theory and more!
Fee - £35/hour GCSE - £40/hour A-Level
