My name is Anne and I am a CELTA qualified language teacher.
I teach French and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge of this language with you.

As a French native speaker, I know what it is like to learn a foreign language.
I aim to help you e some of the challenges by providing enjoyable, practical and useful lessons.

After discussing your needs and expectations, I will design a teaching plan to best match these. Lessons are adapted to your needs with a focus on language practice & fluency.

I specialise in 1to1 lessons and small classes delivered online using Zoom, with all levels (A1-C1) and all ages e.
I am flexible with morning, afternoon or evening lessons and I am available Sunday to Thursday. I have more than 2 years teaching experience online.
I can help you prepare for the DELF exam and the National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher.

Individual lessons are charged as follow:
- £25 per hour.
- £20 per 45 minutes
- £13 per 30 minutes

Group lesson prices will be dependent on the class size and can be negotiated.

Anne prepared thoroughly for our lessons. She used a variety of very engaging multimedia resources; including audio recordings, you-tube videos and photographs. She also took time to make sure that I was really enjoying the lesson and she used quite a bit of appropriate humour to make it more fun! She spent time gently coaching my pronunciation and corrected mistakes in a way that I found supportive. Altogether I have enjoyed her teaching and I highly mend her as a teacher.

Anne is diligent, organised, reliable and on-time. You’d think that would be basic, but not everyone can do that. Anne does. Anne prepares lessons to suit my level, and provides supporting materials that I can use during or after. She can adjust the level quickly, if I’m getting stuck or finding it easy. She gives me homework to practise (but not too much). Anne uses lots of different things in our lessons so it doesn't get boring - we were trying to work out the jokes in a song last lesson! She makes me work really hard, but she is kind too, and SO PERSISTENT - she doesn't give up if I’m rubbish at something. Anne is native French speaker, fluent English speaker permanently living in UK.
