This high quality kit was bought new by my Grandfather in 2002 when he learnt to fly, and get his Private Pilot's Licence. He used it for a year or so until he had to stop flying. It has been well cared-for and perfect for anyone starting up in flying, or a seasoned pro looking for some new kit, at a bargain price!

Pilot’s Aviation Cockpit Headset – Headphones and mic with volume control – (New would be £~250)
This is an excellent, used cockpit headset, with only slight evidence of wear noticeable on the cushioned upper section. Otherwise very minimal evidence of usage. I remember my grandfather saying he had paid around £250 for in 2002, which parable with the price of a new one today. He only used it for a year or so when he learnt to fly, and then it went back in its bag and has been kept safe since then. This would be perfect for someone new to flying, or even an experienced pilot looking for a good second-hand cockpit set. It would be great for it to get some use again!

Pooley’s CB-8 Pilot’s Kneeboard Organiser – (New would be £26.99)
This is an excellent, barely-used second-hand kneeboard, in full working order.

The CB-8 is a very popular fold over Pilots Kneeboard organiser. It is rigid in construction and finished in durable black leather grain PVC. Fitted with spring clip (top centre) for retention and use of Landing Diagrams, Approach Plates, Frequency Lists and Flight Log Pads. Includes 2 loops to hold Chinagraph/lead pencils or pens, clear plastic flip over protective cover on front, reinforced eyelet to retain stop watch holder and wide elasticated velcro-fastening thigh strap.

Spine bound on inside are 4 clear plastic wallets to hold an additional selection of Landing/Approach Plates and a pocket to hold Protractor and Plotter. Printed white lettering usefully detailing prehensive useable Flight Log, Phonetic Alphabet, Morse Code, selected Transponder Codes, Mnemonic Position Report, Semi-Circular Rules, Distress Message and Search and Rescue Signals.

Pooley’s Scale Flight Ruler: NM-2 (420MM) – (New would be £7.99)
This is an excellent, barely-used second-hand scale ruler, in full working order.

Standard Flying School Issue. Outside edges respectively read to 110nm in 1:500,000 and to 55nm in 1:250,000. Centre scale converts between Kilometres (KM) 1:500,000 from 0–200km and Statute Miles (SM) 1:500,000 from 0–125nm

CAA 2171AB UK CHART 1:500,000 (2001): Official Aeronautical Map (UK) – (New would be £16.99) The map on sale as part of this bundle is from 2001, with annotations marked onto it. There have been newer editions since ... hence the significantly reduced price.
