Debbie is a totally brilliant photographer and person. She photographed our wedding and captured the day beautifully! We were over the moon to get pictures of all the candid moments between our guests and she captured the joy and love we felt all day in every photo. She was also such a joy to have on the day, from stitching a button back on the bride's dress to ushering lingering guests and making sure we had Prosecco in hand she was so helpful in making our day go smoothly. Debbie has recently photographed our wedding, and really made the whole experience so special for us both. We first met Debbie for our engagement shoot which was included in the wedding package we had picked, I was very nervous as I never enjoy having my pictures taken. Debbie put me at ease straight away and I ended up really enjoying the whole experience, and the photos were amazing and I felt so relaxed the whole time. When it came to the wedding day I had no nerves about photos, Debbie was fantastic and captured our day perfectly and we really couldn’t of asked for any more from her. Debbie was perfect for our wedding and we can’t recommend her enough.
She was great in the run up to the day and happy to chat on Zoom as often as we liked. We eloped to the Cairngorms and only had five guests, so we hoped we’d get on well with our photographer – Debbie fitted in brilliantly on the day and felt like our sixth guest. She was happy to chat with everyone, help with buttonholes and always knew how to capture the day without the camera becoming the focus.
We love Debbie’s eye for natural photography - our favourite shots were when we had no idea they were being taken! She was happy to lace up her boots and trample around in the forest or balance on stepping stones in the river to get the right angle - she even went the literal extra mile to capture our walk into Ballater for dinner.
A really treasured moment was sharing whisky from a Quaich that Debbie thoughtfully gifted to us and we’ll drink from it every year on our anniversary as a reminder of that moment. We love the finished photographs – Debbie had taken our thoughts and ideas and added her own style and expertise to make a perfect memory. We treasure the physical photos and Debbie made it so easy to share the digital versions with friends and family online. The short film of video clips was a brilliant addition that we’d never thought of but are so grateful to have. After originally planning to have a big November 2020 wedding in Glasgow we decided nearer the time to change our plans and have the wedding up in Banff nearer my family so they were all able to attend.
With only 5 weeks notice Debbie was more than happy to accommodate our new arrangements and travel up to Banff for our wedding.
My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera. Debbie made us feel so at ease and became part of the family for the day.
To say that she captured every moment would be a understatement. The photos and video montage are better than we could have ever imagined and it has really encapsulated our special family filled day. We are beyond thrilled and thankful.

When my Husband and I started to organise our wedding, we were recommended several photographers. We looked through a multitude of wedding portfolios… but none like Debbie’s! We were completely mesmerised by her talent to be able to convey such precious moments. I have never seen photographs that made me feel so caught up in the moment that has been captured! We honestly cannot recommend Debbie highly enough! Debbie has this truly wonderful ability to capture the most creative, candid, beautiful and natural photographs. When we got married there was no one else apart from Debbie we wanted to photograph our wedding. Debbie was my sister’s wedding photographer too and captured her day amazingly! We loved your relax and calm approach that caught special moments throughout the day that we will treasure forever, especially with our children, who have become firm fans also! Debbie was recommended to us by a friend who had hired her for her own wedding. We had looked through many photographers at various wedding shows but decided to go with Debbie above all others. From the moment we first got in contact with her, she was an absolute pleasure to talk to and offered a range of packages for us to choose from. In the run up to the wedding we had issues with accommodation on the island of Barra and Debbie was more than flexible and more than happy to work around our requests which was a tremendous relief for ourselves. True to her word, Debbie’s photography was completely unobtrusive throughout the day and she made us feel very comfortable during the obligatory wedding poses despite one of us not being particularly fond of photographs! Debbie’s work is of the highest standard and our photographs in both digital and printed form looked absolutely beautiful. So much so that our thank you cards featured no less than 3 of our favourite moments she captured of us. I recently hired Debbie for my wedding and my wife and I were so pleased with the results. During the initial consultation Debbie ran through all of the options that were available and she helped us pick the right choice for our special day. On the day of the wedding she was a joy to work with as she remained cool when the usual mother-in-law meltdown was in full flow.
