Nanny/PA/Cook

A family of 5 in Marylebone is looking for Nanny/Pa/Cook ensuring the home runs smoothly
Nanny:
School run: pick up 9year boy from school
organise afterschool activity and playdates for the children and bring them where needed
liaise with other nannies/parents
ensuring playroom and children’s room are kept tidy- encourage them to do it themselves
buy birthday present
organise children’s birthday
Supervising and helping with homework
Friday evening Babysitting- optional
House Management/Pa
Managing the house
Supervising the house cleaning; responsible for the cleaning ladies’ work (she is coming every day for 3 to 4 hours; can discuss if we need more) and for managing her
Ensuring master bedroom bed is done each day;
Ensuring beds are changed once a week; supervise laundery of sheets
Deep clean appliances monthly (oven, dishwasher etc…)
Ensuring all necessary housework is complete
Supervise ironing lady:
Put on the wash and hang clothes for drying
Supervise ironing and putting clothes and items away
Help with packing and unpacking
Ensure appliances work (bulbs, battery etc…)
Oversee contractors such as window clearner, gardener etc…
Organising upholstery cleaning as and when needed
Bring cat to the vet as and when needed
Supporting all administrative needs and correspondence
Extensive Travel and Diary Management and Reservations
Basic book keepings and managing household bills
Ad hoc personal errands
Assisting with Event Planning
Making and arranging bookings for travels and social activities
Maintaining records and computerised paperwork
Organise travelling
Travelling abroad with the family: optional: if a contract on the whole year then this is required; if a the person does not want to travel with the family, then contract excludes July and August
Cook
Set up menus for the evening
Preparing children’s diner and supervise their dinner; tidy up after dinner
Dressing table and undressing table skills
prepare parents’ dinner and prepare table etc… tidy up after dinner
Doing shopping:
For the week
Anticipating for the week end based on an agreed list
part in the neighbourhood, part online
Keeping food in the fridge and pantry clean and in date
Arranging for regular dry cleaning for clothes and return to appropriate place
Arranging clothes repair, shoe repair etc…
Other errands may include but are not limited to the pharmacy, brining clothes for alternation, returning items, going to the post office etc…
