With over 14 years teacher experience, I gained the Chartered Teacher Status Award from GTC Scotland in recognition of my excellence in teaching. I have PVG Disclosure Scotland membership (the Police Scotland check required before working with children).
Stages taught:
MATHS: Primary and Secondary stages taught up to and including N5 Maths and Higher Maths.
Cost includes one to one online tuition, plus access to online learning materials for your child's stage.
£15 - 30 mins, one to one online tuition
£20 - 40 mins, one to one online tuition
£27.50 - 55 mins, one to one online tuition, Higher Maths
£15 - One to One, 30 mins - is your child in P7, S1 or S2 and struggling in mainstream maths class? NEW CORE SKILLS (BLOCK 1) Number, Decimals, Fractions, Angles, Integers, Intro to Algebra. WRITTEN TEACHER FEEDBACK ON EVERY CHILD'S PROGRESS. Please request when booking.
~~Rapid progress resulting from one to one pupil learning with teacher~~I’ve been tutoring 1:1 online with great success in terms of improved pupil attainment and confidence. Methods and concepts taught exactly as they would be by your child's class teacher. The different methods used by tutors who are not trained classroom teachers can potentially lead to confusion and may even hinder progress. All of my teaching is based on achieving the outcomes set by the school curriculum, with an emphasis on the development of skills to pass exams (eg, N5, Higher) where relevant.
