They are experiencing an exciting time of growth and development and require a full-time Marketing Assistant to join their dedicated and close-knit team based at their Head Office in Hartfield located in the beautiful East Sussex countryside close to Ashdown Forest.
You will be highly motivated and organised with a strong attention to detail. Working closely and collaboratively with the Digital Media Manager, you will have a creative and innovative approach to your work. You will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude who is curious and eager to learn. In return you will have the opportunity to learn and develop with the continued growth and success of the Company.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Support the maintenance of the Company's social media presence across all digital channels.
- Contribute ideas and provide support with the planning of creative digital marketing campaigns, including web, email and social media.
- Ensure website content is kept up-to-date.
- Help with production of the Company's product brochures and branding.
- Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships.
- Assist with managing and developing the Company's e-commerce website.
- Process sales via the Company's website.
- Effectively deal with customer service enquiries.
- Help to organise product launches and promotional events.
- Maintain and update customer databases.
Key skills and attributes:
Essential:
- Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop.
- Experience with video editing and/or graphic design.
- A creative and digital flare.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
- Analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
- Experience with paid advertising channels.
- Ability to write compelling marketing copy.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and website management.
Professional experience and education:
- Between one and two years' experience in a digital or content marketing role.
- Full Level 2 achievement (equivalent to 5 or more GCSEs at grade A* to C) including Maths, English and IT.
- Level 3 in a marketing or other related discipline is desirable.
- Experience within the firearms industry would be beneficial but not essential.
This is an office based role. Due to office location, you may need access to your own transport.
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday)
