I bought this lightweight Lunar Lexon SB caravan 2009 in 2010 because of its high spec and the twin fixed beds and lots of quality extras. This is an idea caravan for a first timer or someone returning to caravanning to be holidaying in style. It has a service history and damp checks. It is in excellent condition having been well looked after by only one careful family owners with no children.
The Lexon SB is one of the lightest caravans on the market to feature twin fixed single beds on a manoeuvrable single axle, Lunar also managed to include a very high level of equipment and plush furnishings, without skimping on space anywhere in the caravan. It is fitted with a working remote control motor mover making siting and pitching this caravan very easy. This caravan would suit a couple even thought it is a 4-berth unit and could be used by a family.
Externally, the Lexon has a modern look, with 3 double glazed windows at the front, white front and rear full height ABS panels. The caravan is built on an Al-Ko galvanised chassis, featuring modern equipment such as shock absorbers, assisted handbrake and stabiliser. The full-size spare wheel is stored in the underslung AL-KO carrier. It comes with top level security including a PIR alarm system with key fob and motion sensors and tracker.
The 2-piece stable door has a fly screen and black out blind and leads to a high spec interior. The front window, like the windows throughout the Lexon, are double-glazed polyplastic and have ventilation latches, fly screens, curtains and black out blinds. The lounge/living area has seating for 4, which can be converted into 2 single beds or a double (using 'pull out slats' which are stored under a chest of drawers). The chest of drawers has a table which can be extended out to provide an area which is large for two to dine and there is a larger folding table if required, stored in its own locker. The large Heiki roof light provides a light and airy feel to the lounge and provides plenty of ventilation. There is a TV point, which connects to the Status digital aerial with amplifier as well as external digital and satellite connection points. There is a high quality fitted Blaupunkt CD/Radio with 4 speakers. There is yet more storage here in the overhead lockers and under the seats.
There is well equipped kitchen with a Spinflo Mk3 Caprice gas 3 ring hob, grill and oven with spark ignition, and a fitted microwave oven above. The stainless-steel sink is a good sized. The Dometic 3-way fridge is large enough to provide all the food storage necessary for a family holiday. The kitchen also features ample storage for food and utensils and overhead there is a Fiamma Turbo Vent 2-way fan. There is a Smoke Detector, Co Detector and Fire Extinguisher. Opposite the kitchen is a wardrobe unit with hanging rail which also houses the Truma dual-fuel heating system and the TV Vision Plus Status box and antenna.
Moving further back, the shower room and washroom are situated on either side of the central aisle, effectively maximising space in both areas. The shower room is a fully lined cubicle with a chrome mixer tap and shower head and the washroom with a Thetford C-250 swivelling toilet and a washbasin with chrome mixer tap, in a vanity unit with more storage.
The most distinguishing feature of the Lexon SB are the single beds that are situated in the rear of the caravan. The bedroom has an aisle with the single beds either side, creating a very spacious feel to the whole caravan. The beds have very comfortable sprung mattresses, padded headboard, storage underneath and reading lights and there is a bed-side cabinet at the end of the aisle. There are overhead aircraft style lockers, a safe under the bed and a large Heiki roof light. The bed arrangement is perfect for families with older children or couples who want to sleep separately and guarantees a good night’s sleep! The toilet door catches open and makes the bathroom on-suite also there is a concertina style partition, providing the occupants with privacy from the rest of the caravan.

For towing there are the extension mirrors (as required by law) and the cables connections to the vehicle. I have converted these to “Pig Tail” types that can be removed for storage and extra security. There is a rear-view camera at high level at the back to assist whilst towing. On arriving at a site the caravan comes with wedges, chocks and blocks even a level for setting up the unit when you stop.
There is an external locker for tools and equipment with a 240v power point. Along side this locker is a gas outlet for connecting the BBQ.
This caravan is ready to hitch up and take away on a relaxing and luxurious caravanning holiday.
Having owned this caravan from new and aware of all of its many extras I will explain to anybody how everything works and operates.
Also provided are all the manuals and certificates for the caravan and its equipment.
If you do not want to tow the caravan but locate it on a seasonal pitch, or storage I am willing to tow it to a site within approximately 50-mile radius from my location.
It is great regret that I am making this sale but due to ill health and age it has become necessary.
