Full-time live-in couple (housekeeper/chef) required for Rodel House, Harris, Outer Hebrides. We are looking for an experienced couple for the role of Housekeeper and Chef within an 18th-century merchant's house that has been sympathetically restored and designed to provide high-quality catered lets to parties of up to 8 people. The Housekeeper will have a front-of-house role as well as offer a high standard of service at all levels. A hands-on flexible approach is required to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Training will be given if required The Chef will be a key component in establishing the reputation of Rodel House for well--cooked, well-presented locally sourced food in a comfortable relaxed uniquely scenic environment. The planning of imaginative menus, management of an efficient operation of the kitchen as well as providing a high standard of cuisine are essential. The couple will be required to live in this rural location with separate furnished accommodation provided. Attractive salaries ad a pension scheme is on offer commensurate with experience.
