GBP52,245 - GBP60,953 annual basic salary + excellent rewards package

This vacancy is for a Lead Business Analyst within the Backup & Recovery (BU&R) Programme.
Our Team The BU&R programme team was formed in November 2022 to own technical delivery relating to the Bank's Back-up, Vaulting, Restore, Recovery and proving capability to meet associated customer and regulator expectations to recover important business services within impact tolerance timescales.
Whilst the programme is driving delivery of technology; the nature of the work means that people and process related activity will also be key to our success and positive engagement with stakeholders across a substantial part of the Bank will be critical.
This is still being shaped and areas of scope are continuing to emerge, we therefore need you to join us on the journey and contribute to our success.

If you take on this role, you'll find yourself:
Working on a specific initiative(s) within the programme, owning analysis activity and directing assigned BAs in undertaking / supporting this work Supporting the identification and production of robust, high-quality Business Analysis and Data Analysis artefacts Contributing to stand ups and reviews, helping the team continually improve their ways of working. Working in a hybrid delivery model (Waterfall / Agile) Collaborating with numerous Divisions and Teams to ensure our work meet their needs and embed smoothly into their 'BAU' world. Essential Skills & experience 6+ Years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within a highly regulated, financial services, environment Superb communication skills across multiple collaborators Problem solving skills, with ability to translate complex problems into simple, consumable, views Adept at directing and coaching BAs, providing support, helping them to develop but also driving their delivery of quality to achievable deadlines Able to manage time, providing leadership to other BAs on their activities whilst also owning specific pieces of analysis work Proven ability to shape an emerging initiative via robust stakeholder analysis and scope definition Excellent, practically applied, BA toolkit including workshop facilitation, process modelling, requirements capture, Use Case, logical system modelling etc.) Excellent, practically applied, Data Analysis skills including Data Dictionary, Data Flow Mapping, Data Lineage etc.) Creative thinker with ability to consider how best to analyse and present findings, tailored to the topic and audience Quality focussed with a drive to deliver robust, high-quality analysis artefacts to deadline Desirable Skills
