Lead Design Engineer Shrewsbury Permanent Negotiable depending on experience Monday to Friday Days Prince Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing dynamic business based in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit a Lead Design Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of new and existing products. They are looking for a driven individual who is motivated to grow alongside the company and make an impact within the business. The Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for: Creating and designing 3D modules for new product introduction Reviewing and approving new product requests Carrying out development and testing of new and existing products Overseeing and managing multiple projects at once Communicating with both clients and manufacturers on product status and queries Investigating component failures and quality complaints Supporting with continuous improvement projects Creating BOM s and product numbers Working alongside other departments within the business on ongoing or existing projects Skills and Experience required: Previous experience within the Automotive industry will be essential HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineer would be advantageous Experience using CAD and Solidworks will be beneficial Must be able to communicate with all levels within the business This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked as a Lead Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer / Design Engineer The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we're able to progress with your application within 72 working hours.
