Kids Ride On Car 6V - Very Good Condition, but Not Working

Kids Ride On Car 6v with UK Mains Charger
From smoke free and pet free home
Used indoors by our child when younger
Stored away when it wasn't used for the past few years
As you can see, it is in very clean and good condition.
Please see the pictures with the measuring tape for dimensions.
I plugged it into the mains and the battery charges up.
However, the car doesn't move. I suspect it is an issue with the on/off switch or the accelerator switch.
Note: The car can't be pushed along and needs the issue fixed to move on it's own.
Might be a quick fix for someone who is good with electrical stuff.
