Junior Artworker

Company: They are a leading and innovative British trade manufacturer of a wide range of corporate and promotional merchandise and beautiful gifts. They design, manufacture, print and finish all of the products they sell on site, with many unique products made from sustainable materials. Based in rural Herefordshire they employ over 50 people in a team that has won many industry awards for their products and services.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not necessary although positivity & a willingness to learn are both must-haves.
The role will include:
Assess customer provided artwork and process for product templates with Adobe Illustrator and Indesign. Run and monitor custom script automations including 3D product mockups Create design options for sales visualisations Redraw artwork where necessary Edit and amend in timely manner Prepare approved designs for production
This is a proofing role rather than a creative role.
Candidate Requirements:
I.T skills – used to using Apple Macs, any familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Grade C or above in G.C.S.E Maths & English Excellent time keeping A positive, can-do attitude Efficiency & the ability to prioritise your own workload where attention to detail is critical Follow existing systems & processes Willingness to learn & to be adaptable Due to the location, you must consider your transport needs

Salary negotiable depending on experience working full-time, 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday & 8.30am- 4.30pm on Friday. Annual holiday is 30 days including bank holidays (bank holidays normally account for 8 days). An annual factory shutdown at Christmas accounts for 3-4 of these days. One-hour unpaid breaks per day (1x 15 minute am & 1 x 15 minute pm & ½ hour for lunch).
