International Tax Manager – Projects, Oil & Gas – Aberdeen

A global energy and engineering business is looking to recruit a International Tax Manager to join their Aberdeen office.
Remote working across the UK is also an option.
Role:
Direct and indirect taxes for the group entitiesInternational tax complianceSupport and manage business tenders from an advisory perspective Group tax provisioning and all tax requirements for entity statutory reportingReviewing and setting tax policies across the businessPreparation of all group entity corporate tax filingsPreparation of tax provisions for audit purposes –UK GAAP/IFRSPreparation or review of quarterly forecasts for the UK & US corporate groupsManage relationships with tax authoritiesEnsure statutory and tax compliance for the Group in all financial matters.Assist where required from tax perspective on any acquisitions, due diligence work.Review and approval prior to submission of various VAT/GST filings including but not limited to UK, Singapore, Indonesia and India, Denmark, UAE.Oversee and manager VAT or sales tax auditsOversee preparation of transfer pricing documentation and annual R&D reports as required.Lead restructuring and other planning opportunitiesProvide advisory support on employment tax issues Essential:
