Insurance Account Executive – Commercial
Salary 40k plus bonus - dependent on skills and experience

This Account Executive role is within the Direct Retail division which distributes a range of products to Commercial UK SME customers, covering Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Package, General Liability, Tradesmen, Excess of Loss, as well as ancillary products and services including Directors & Officers Liability, Terrorism, Legal Expenses, Premium Credit Finance.
Purpose of the role:-
As an account executive you will be responsible for:-
managing an existing book of renewal risks, accurately and consistently and in line with company procedures and service standards.preparation of market presentations and securing new business opportunities, including cross selling of suitable products to existing customersmid term alterations and change in cover requestsdeveloping credibility with customers and insurer partners to help win and retain businessclaims administrationproduction of quotations and demands and needs statementsuse of company’s policy administration system for data entry, record keeping and diary systemsreceiving incoming calls / outbound calls to prospective customersreporting of management information and key performance indicatorsad-hoc administrative duties and support as may be required by the companyattendance of meetings, road shows as requiredsupporting with training and development of junior staff membersworking with Executives to suggest improvements to sales and marketing processes

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (10 years plus advantageous)Knowledge of UK Commercial SME products essentialCompetent in Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience with Acturis Systems would be advantageous
