Heavy Plant Fitter
Location: Cheshire, North West
Salary: Up to 45k (DOE)
Our client, provide material handling solutions in the UK. The plant is fitted with the latest safety aids to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability with fully trained operators.
The Role:
They are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join their team to maintain their ever-growing fleet of modern plant machinery. The role will be based in Cheshire workshops in North West.
Duties:
Maintenance and repair of Heavy Plant equipment such as Excavators up to 40T, Dumpers, Articulated Dump Trucks up to 35T, Rollers up to 19T, Bull dozers and Telehandlers.Carrying out welding and fabrication repairs to buckets and machinery.Carrying out scheduled servicing, PDI, Essential:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a plant maintenance (Post apprenticeship) CAT, Volvo, and Komatsu experience.Welding & Fabrication experience (MIG)Strong experience in diagnosis, maintaining and repairing modern heavy plant equipment.Flexibility to work weekend overtime when required.Full UK driving Licence.NVQ desirable but not essential.
