Head Greenkeeper - Jedburgh Golf Club

An opportunity has arisen at Jedburgh Golf Club for an ambitious greenkeeper to increase their professional development.
We have an excellent opportunity for a hard working greenkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will need to be open minded with a proactive attitude, a good eye for detail, a strong leader with excellent man-management skills and communication, aligned with a good understanding of the game of golf.
Salary dependent on experience.
Preferred Requirements:
To carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks and supervise the greenkeeping staff as directed by the Course Committee and undertake any task seen fit by the Club's Committee.
To be fully competent in monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security in the workplace and in responding to emergencies.
Spraying qualifications are preferred.
A full driving licence.
Competent in the use of a wide variety of machinery.
Be mechanically minded.
Driven, flexible with good communication and organisational skills.
Schedule:
Day shift (hours to be finalised)
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability for preparation of surfaces before weekend competitions.
