Seeking a professional skilled handyman with multi-trade experience ie plumbing, electrical, carpentry - achieved through either studying at college or work experience (min level of HNC/HND).
The Handyman will be responsible for the smooth functioning of our client’s residences, and additional smaller support properties, in Surrey and around SE & SW counties.
The person will be flexible to travel to each property providing hands on maintenance in a broad and wide-range of areas : construction, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and decorating and/or project manage where necessary, with external contractors.
Experienced required:

Project management experience
General knowledge of UK Health and Safety and statutory regulations
An understanding and experience of listed buildings and statutory regulations associated with the undertaking of works to properties and services.
Experience in private homes, deluxe or boutique hotels or Museums and Galleries – indeed any properties where great emphasis has been given not only to cutting edge E&M and IT/AV systems but also the soft and hard finishes, art, antiques along with fixtures and fittings.
An advantage if candidates hold a degree, but it will be more important for candidates to demonstrate a wide range of skills and knowledge within their respective discipline, and to have a good working knowledge of current high-end systems.

Enthusiastic and organised team players who will be hands-on when necessary
Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills along with an excellent command of English, spoken and written;
IT proficiency and good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office (word/excel etc) especially in relation to preparing reports and maintaining inventories
Able to work with a multi-national team, and able to devise teaching methods that will ensure that all the staff know how to operate the household systems relevant to them
A logical problem solver with good judgement and decision-making capability
Familiar with managing contractors and suppliers
Able to take control of the supervision of all general household maintenance
Able to manage accounts (sometimes in collaboration with the Family Office)

Hours / Package:

Essentially a Monday to Friday role, but with flexibility at weekends in the event there is an emergency at one of the properties etc.
Salary £45,000 - £50,000 gross pa DOE, plus substantial car allowance, pension, health plan. Start ASAP.

Must have recent and checkable references, right to work in UK, clean driving licence and vehicle, and ability to start ASAP.
