Graduate recruitment consultant– The Role
As a recruitment consultant, you will be responsible for building a desk in your specific niche market which may include, oil and gas, nuclear, mining, or renewable energies. This will need you to be an excellent communicator, self–motivated, and highly organized to help promote your recruitment brand and source both your own clients and candidates
You will begin as an associate consultant which is a 180 role:
Meet with existing clients and learn what they are looking forSource candidates through advertising, networking, headhunting, and using the databaseInterviewing candidatesPreparing candidates for interviews with your clientsGathering feedback from both sidesNegotiating the best package and closing placements!After your first promotion you will become a consultant where your role will be 360, and so also include:Researching competitorsResearching potential new clientsBusiness development – calling potential clients and pitching your servicesMaintaining relationships with your clientsThe rest of the 180 side!
