Here we have for sale an excellent go anywhere Giant TCX Cyclocross/Gravel/Road Racing Bike.
This is a very versatile bike which is just as happy flying along canal paths & ploughing its way through the woods as it is mixing it with busy traffic on the roads.
This is in superb condition & is mechanically perfect having just had a bare frame (gold) service (worth £150 alone) by myself
(an expert bike mechanic) using top quality Mobil XHP marine grease & has new brake pads, luxurious new bar tape, new bottom bracket & top quality DMR V12 pedals.
Equipment wise it comes with excellent Shimano STI shifters which work beautifully, high power Tektro cantilever brakes with Shimano front & rear mechs (the shifting is superb), upgraded Bontrager Race X Light stem & Charge Spoon saddle which all adds up to a great package which represents superb value for money.
The bike has lightweight ALUXX SL 6000 series profiled aluminium tubing, aluminium aero forks & upgraded Fulcrum 7 CX (Cyclocross Specific) rims with sealed cartridge bearings (these have all been removed, flushed out & re-packed with marine grease to ensure great performance & reliability) & top quality Schwalbe Durano 700x32 anti puncture tyres fitted.
The bike benefits from having a fully degreased drivetrain & chain which has been hot wax/PTFE dipped which unlike oil stops all the gunk build up, chainring tattoos & prevents premature drivetrain wear due to chain oil mixing with grit & turning into a grinding paste.
The frame size is 21.5”/54cm which has racing style compact geometry. The bike rides beautifully & wants for nothing, you won’t be disappointed & will not find a better example at any price rest assured.
It has a 12/26 cassette & 52-39-170 triple chain set which is geared for great amazing climbing ability mixed with plenty of speed on the flats.
Every bike which goes through my workshop is subject to a vigorous 10 mile road test to ensure perfect performance & reliability so you can buy with complete confidence.
I can supply & fit a set of reflectors & a bell for this bike at no extra cost if required (just ask before collecting).
This would make a great gift for someone wanting to get into racing bikes or would be a superb & reliable fast commuter / delivery bike.
