Hello! We are a gardening and landscapes company based in Herne Hill, South London, looking for keen individuals to join our expanding company
We are ideally looking for a self-employed individual with a passion for gardening in London’s great little outdoor spaces as well as an appetite for physically rewarding work.
The applicant must be fit, able and confident using a bike across South London. The role has flexibility in the working hours and you will be asked to schedule your own visits to work around yourself and our clients. We require the individual to have a confident grasp of machinery (we will train anyone safely before using our tools) and have an eye for different plants and their habits. This role would perfectly suit someone studying to be a Gardener or who is experienced but needing some flexibility to work around their own lives.
A regular day consists, depending on the size of the garden, of 2 - 3 garden visits on our e-cargo bike. We mostly operate in teams of two people and the bike is fully equiped with all the machines and hand tools required for general gardening works. You will be required to use a mower, a strimmer, a long arm and short arm hedge trimmer, sharp hand tools, mattocks and spades as well as complete the occasional pressure washing and at times be client facing. We also have a landscaping arm to the company and for those interested in furthering their skillset, they will be welcome to labouring days with the team and encouraged to learn and grow within the company.
We are looking for someone with a long term goal in the fields of gardening & landscaping but who we can work flexible hours with. Our starter rates are £120 for full days (8.30am - 5pm) or we calculate an hourly basis - all depending on the individual’s experience which we will discuss with you.
