Female Part-time Carer (Private for family)

We are looking for an experienced carer to join our at home 24/7 care team for our mum. Our current brilliant care team of six ladies has been working together for a number of years however we are looking to fill one space in the team due to a relocation.
The role is for one night shift (7pm to 12 noon the next day) and one day shift (12 noon until 7pm) minimum a week with flexibility to cover and support team holidays as needed. Weekend shifts are available for a carer who already has a job who is looking to top up their current income.
The role is based at mum's home in a warm and modern home in a quiet cul-de-sac with supportive neighbours. Mum also has a very friendly cat who enjoys cuddles so it's important that you like furry friends :)
Mum has dementia which is progressive although she currently can be very engaged and talkative on good days - she particularly enjoys watching soaps, quizzes and holiday programmes together. Experience of caring for and enjoying working with dementia patients is therefore important for the role. The family is very involved so you will be part of a caring and supportive team of people.
The role involves preparing meals, administering medication, light cleaning/tidying duties and lots of companionship.
The role is offered on a self-employed basis and pay is made after your shift each week. Pay for the day shift is £70 per shift and £150 per night shift.
