Family Associate Solicitor
Role: Full-time and permanent (Hybrid working available)
Location: Birmingham / Midlands
Family Solicitor with 3+ PQE
Salary: Market rate plus a bonus and commission scheme
Fabulous opportunity for an ambitious, qualified, experienced family law solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a leading law firm to set up the Family and Relationship team within a new Birmingham branch.
The Role
The role will work closely with the head of the department and their fantastic team in London. As an integral part of a successful family team, you will be involved in a varied caseload, covering all aspects of family and relationship matters including divorces, separations agreements, civil partnerships, children matters, cohabitation, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements as well as international work and jurisdiction issues. You will be required to proactively support the team's business development activities and build trusting relationships with local clients and professionals.
The Applicant
Passionate about family law, the right person will demonstrate tenacity, sensitivity, be able to work autonomously and be enthusiastic at the opportunity this role provides. You will provide a high-quality service and accurate legal advice to the firm's clients; working independently on your own caseload as well as part of the London team which may involve supervising work carried out by others.
