About me
Hi, my name is Josephine. I am a piano teacher and concert pianist who has been working with students for over 30 years. I am also a well-trained music psychologist. My teaching characteristic is helping musicians to achieve a higher level of music performance, Including:

I also teach piano pedagogy in my class if my adult students are capable to learn as well as to foster my younger students from earlier ages, to ensure they have been well-developed as expert musicians with a high degree of knowledge and musical skills.

I have given many public performances, such as in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Australia, and the U.S.A. I am also a researcher of music psychology, an author, a translator of postgraduate courses (University of Chichester), a music journal translator, and a competition jury. In the past, I used to be the CEO of a music school and competition organizer (Osaka International Music Competition).

Teaching Format
I can do face-to-face lessons and virtual lessons online. If you are a candidate preparing for an exam or competition, or any music student ready for admission, I do also provide one-time assessment services. For example, send me your video performance and I can give you a report of written advice.

Musical Heritage
My piano skills were inherited from my piano teacher, Ms. Nancy Loo, who is the most remarkable piano teacher and concert pianist (The Juilliard School) in Hong Kong. She is also a student of Adele Marcus, Vlado Perlemuter, and Guido Agosti.
