Are you looking for an experienced, friendly teacher/tutor in English?
Hi! My name is Aminah and I am a UK qualified and experienced English teacher (PDGE, Teach First Ambassador). I have been tutoring students aged 3-18 all around the world for 8+ years. I am patient, warm yet push students to excel and achieve if not exceed targets!
I started off tutoring students in England face to face in a tutoring centre. However since then, I have broadened my horizons and teach online with students in Dubai, China, Qatar, Kuwait, Hong Kong as well as the UK. I have taught high achieving students who need that extra push, as well as the opposite end of the spectrum; EAL students who are just starting off with the basics of the English Language. There is something for everyone!
I tailor each lesson to suit the needs of my student and tutor based upon their preferred learning style. Not only does this make the lesson fun and engaging for students, this will in turn mean they will learn much faster and retain information in their long term memory.
I offer 1-2-1 lessons, as well as group sessions. I aim to be as flexible as possible with lesson days/times. Group sessions start from just £20/hr and £30 for 1-2-1 depending on the age and needs of the child.
