Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Liverpool
Contract: 6 weeks
Start Date: Easter
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team at a well-established secondary school based in Liverpool. The role will on the 17th April 2023 and will continue until the end of the academic year.
As a English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to a range of students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. You will need to have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of a diverse group of learners. You will also be required to contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities and school productions.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience of teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons.A commitment to high standards of teaching and learningThe ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.Strong communication and organisational skillsA willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
