East Belfast SOFTBALL club looking new players to form new rookie/recreational team

Belfast Sliders Softball Club are a co-ed recreational softball team based in East Belfast. We are currently looking to expand our club from one to two teams, with a focus on creating a rookie team to create a nurturing environment for people who want to learn how to play softball. Softball itself is an outdoor summer sport similar to rounders and baseball. Due to the mixed-gender nature of softball the sport caters to a wide-range of individuals who wish to participate in a friendly, fully inclusive and social sport.
The Belfast Sliders Softball Club was established in 2009 and are currently based at Hydebank Playing Fields in Belfast. We are looking for new players to expand our existing team and to help establish a new team. No equipment is necessary to join, as the team will supply you with all you need to get started. You can commit as much or as little time as you can to the team.
Training takes place on Sunday mornings from 11.00am at Dixon Park Playing Fields (from February) and Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm (from April) with league games taking place on either Sunday afternoons from 2pm or Monday evenings from 7pm. We expect approximately one league game per week from May through to August.
