Detached Youth Workers
Salary: £12,090 pa for 15 hours per week Monday -Friday 3 hours each evening
Location: Islington, London
Job type: part time contract 2 years with possible 2-year extension
We are seeking aspiring detached youth workers (2) to join a new team to deliver high quality,
innovative street-based youth work in the L.B. Islington.
Are you an experienced Detached Youth worker? Do you consider yourself to be motivated
to help young people? Are you based in or around Islington?
We have fixed term, part time detached youth work roles available. The roles are part of a
funded project which runs until Dec 2025 with extension to Dec 2027.
The purpose of the project is to offer a comprehensive Street detached service to
young people. This role is ideal for someone with experience of working with young people
growing up in poverty, supporting them to overcome barriers, to gain confidence, and
achieve positive outcomes.
