Commercial/Corporate Solicitor

Swift Placements are currently recruiting for a Commercial/Corporate Solicitor to join our clients Birmingham City Centre office. They offer a friendly and flexible environment where individuals can develop their client base and skill set in an organization that offer high levels of support. They have been awarded BLS Law Firm of the Year 6 out of the last 10 years and now have a great opportunity to join their Corporate team. Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience Job Purpose: To work on a varied case load covering all aspects of commercial/corporate matters, including: Acquisitions Disposals Takeovers Mergers Franchises Company Restructuring Shareholder Agreements Strategic advice in relation to exit planning. Advising on external investment Key Duties include but are not limited to: Taking client instructions and attending client meetings Supporting other Fee Earners in the provision of service to their clients by progressing matters that are delegated. Provide a courteous and efficient service putting clients at the centre of everything that is done. Keeping control of an allocated caseload to ensure that standards of matter conduct, file management, administration, time-recording, and accounting are maintained at all times. Recognising the importance of cross selling and identify opportunities to refer work to other teams. Attending networking and firm events to build relationships with potential clients and intermediaries. Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for specific area of expertise and work Experience: Knowledge, experience, and passion for Commercial/corporate law Commercially aware, well organised, and able to participate in business development. Client-centred focus always taking responsibility for the level of client service and taking proactive steps to maximise and improve client relationships. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Confident with the ability to interface and develop relationships with a variety of people.
