This is a ‘36 year old, Classic Mini Park Lane' which has been 'off the road' for some time and is offered here as shown in the images and described in text as an ongoing 'RESTORATION
PROJECT' or for spares or repairs.

The V5c confirms this is a Mini limited edition Park Lane with 998cc standard engine and manual gearbox.

A start had been made by a previous owner, many years ago to restore this Mini, it was dispatched to a professional bodyshop some time after the last road tax expired in 2015. However, whilst the restorer plete a significant amount of work, pleting the car became less of a priority and weeks turned into months with little progress being made. Eventually the owner recovered the car and it sat in storage for some time.

The car is offered as shown, currently dismantled (in some images it is shown on a rotissery which is NOT included). It is a bare shell but most of the ponents are included. Many of ponents were refurbished by its enthusiast owner whilst the shell was away and appear in good condition.

This car, in my opinion, represents a good starting point for a usable restoration, the shell has been stripped down and the repairs pleted and those now required are clear to see. There is evidence of a number of replacement panels having been fitted (still with makers labels attached) but some of the work has not been 'finished' particularly well ie welding not dressed

Further work is now clearly required on this car but as this has not been started, a ‘new owner’ can undertake the refurbishment to their own desired standard, timescale and budget.

The seats are original Park Lane edition black with cream with logo and are in decent condition, will require a thorough clean, there are no carpets.

This is quite clearly not a nicely painted or prepared car, experience suggests that whilst 'Minis' previously 'restored' with glossy paintwork may look nice - they can often conceal a multitude of issues - how many times have you read in listings \"a bit of bubbling in the paint\" in reality, corrosion beneath the glossy paintwork - to rectify, that glossy paintwork will most certainly promised!

In summary, this car, in my opinion, represents a really good starting point for a usable restoration, as a limited edition model it is relatively pared with other Mini versions.
