Chef de Partie - Michelin star restaurant - Jersey
We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade. The Chef de Partie will assist in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
The Place
Our client is an award winning bar and restaurant within a boutique hotel in Jersey. They offer artistic gastronomy in an elegant, art deco-inspired space.
The Perks
As Chef de Partie you can expect the following:
Hourly pay based on 45-50 hours per week, equivalent of around £28,000 - £31,000 per yearTipsExcellent training, development and progression opportunities under a fantastic Michelin star Head ChefAccommodation available at a reduced rateThe Person
The ideal Chef de Partie will have the following:
Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen, ideally at a Michelin star or multi - AA Rosette levelConfidence to run a section and help with other duties, mentoring the junior chefs in their tasks.A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.Possess a willingness to work to the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and work prioritisation.Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.As the restaurant is located in Jersey, you must have a pre-existing right to live and work in the UK be willing to relocate to the island.All candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
