ARIEL ARROW RACE BIKE A STUNNING MACHINE

This is for the sale of a classic Ariel Arrow race bike, it left the Ariel factory in 1962 and went directly to the Ludlow Speed Depot where I believe it was then prepared for the racetrack. It has never to my knowledge been road registered there is documentation and VIN plate with bike to confirm the above and also enable you to obtain a V5 if you wished to do so.
It has been built primarily as a show bike/ parade lap machine and has been the subject of a very expensive TOTAL professional rebuild/ restoration with many upgrades, please study the photographs. Below I will try and give you just a brief summary of what has been done but viewing in person will be the only way to fully appreciate this truly stunning and unique piece of English classic motorcycle racing history.
ENGINE
Fully rebuilt with all new bearings, seals, pistons, pression heads, fully race ported, running on twin 28mm flat slide race carbs, stainless custom twin race exhaust. It also has the capability to run a Nitrous Oxide kit if you wish! (system fitted for display only) Engine has been run and sounds fabulous but would no doubt benefit from some fine tuning.
IGNITION
New points, condensers, high output sport coils, 12v light weight race battery fitted in custom alloy battery box.
GEARBOX
Fully rebuilt all new bearings, seals etc.
WHEELS/BRAKES
New alloy race rims with stainless spoke kits
New scrubbed pound tyres
Brakes rebuilt with rear converted to cable operation
SUSPENSION / CHASSIS
New rear shocks (ohlins replicas) with very rare longer braced race swing arm
Front suspension fully rebuilt all new bearings etc,
Frame is totally straight and rust free and has been modified to reduce flex.
All and every fastener is machined socket head polished stainless.
CONTROLS
All are billet custom made from high grade aluminium with full alloy yoke conversion, rearsets etc,etc. all cables are new custom made.
A full road kit with 12v alternator, reg/rec, kick start plus case, horn, wireless speedometer etc is available if you wish to road register it.
It is not possible to go into every detail so viewing would be essential if you were genuinely interested.
The level of finish on every part of this bike is to the very highest show standard and I truly believe that you will never find another one like this, the value of which is only going to go one way.
