Solar panels, batteries, fan, and wood burner professionally installed. A carpenter did the complicated boxing and finishing work.
We stuck to natural materials almost exclusively. FSC untreated wood flooring with cork underlay. Insulation is sheep wool and cork, with metallic vapour barrier. Untreated FSC wood paneling for walls and ceiling. Where there is paint, is it either VOC-free chalk paint sealed with natural wax or low-VOC Farrow & Ball. Fittings are wooden or metal. The inside has been designed so it is highly adaptable. You can move the bed, change the configuration, remove the sideboard, change the cupboards, paint it if you like, add a tile backsplash to the sink, tile behind the wood burner, etc.
The MOT records are available online. We purchased it in 2019. It had been a disabled minibus owned by a London council, and as such was well maintained and regularly serviced, which we have continued. All receipts for work and materials available to view, as well as the pre-purchase report from the mechanic we hired to look it over before we bought it.

The build took almost 2 years, and it has only seen two overnight trips. The conversion is brand new. It is our dream camper van, and it's a dreadful wrench to sell the Big Purple Bus, but we are moving abroad and can't take it with us. So the BPB is yours.
