2007 '57' Daihatsu COPEN 1.3L Petrol *ONLY 63k MILES* Silver 2-Door Convertible

I bought this unique little car for my girlfriend to use as a small and economical run-around, but plans have changed so it’s up for sale. This is the more desirable and rarer 1.3L version, and also has the option pack with red leather heated seats, matching red leather trimmed door cards, Momo steering wheel, and boot spoiler. The car is Silver Metallic in colour, and also has electric mirrors, air con, alloy wheels and a folding hard top roof (fully working). It also has the original puncture repair kit and toolkit in the boot. The car is mechanically in great condition for it’s age.

It’s just had a full service carried out by myself, with receipts to prove – new oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs. It’s also had a pair of new Bosch wiper blades and a brand new Yuasa battery (5 year warranty). The car is great fun to drive, like a little go-kart, and a 1.3L engine is plenty in a car this small and lightweight!

It passed its MOT on 4th March so has a full year’s MOT. The MOT history is very good – please see pictures. There were some minor corrosion advisories on the latest MOT as is typical of these cars, and if it was being kept that would have been the next thing I attended to.

The car is category N due to some vandalism before my ownership. I have replaced a window that was broken, but there is a small crack in the front bumper and a couple of small marks on the roof which are cosmetic only. There is a small hole in the back of the driver’s seat. The wheels are quite marked but the tyres have plenty of tread left.

Please bring printed proof of insurance if you would like to test drive the car.

I’m asking £2795, which I believe is fair as non-category N cars with the same spec and mileage as this seem to be in the £4-6k range (I checked a couple of the popular car sales sites). Mileage may rise slightly as time goes on.
