This Swift Challenger has an excellent level of specification. We have owned this caravan for 12 years and it is in superb condition both inside and out. We are only selling to upgrade. All items are in perfect working serviced order and we fitted 2 x new tyres last season. Additionally this caravan has not had extensive travelling as we only took it to Newcastle each trip. It is completely water tight and has been in dry storage every winter. We have included 2 x awnings - a full size awning and a smaller porch awning. These are original matching Swift awnings and a valuable asset as it doubles the floor space . All Swift handbooks are included.
This model is a 490 L. It features 'L' shaped seating at the back which converts to a double bed and bunk beds, if necessary, accommodating in total 3 people. The bunk beds can be used on their own without the need to make up the rear double bed. When rear beds not in use this is an additional dining area which is excellent for children to do their own thing. Personally we left the rear double bed made up as a fixed bed.
There is a central kitchen with adjacent washroom, and front seating which converts to a transverse double bed or alternatively can be used as full length single beds. This is also the main front dining area. It has all the benefits that you would associate with a modern touring caravan including 3 way fridge, full oven, grill and hobs, combined Truma heater, cassette toilet, separate shower and an external BBQ point and electric point. It is single axle and therefore can be towed by a car.
This model has a higher specification than many caravans of this era. In particular it has a lot more storage than most. Many new caravaners fail to look for this essential and only discover it too late. The Challenger is an excellent first time caravan. Please view to appreciate.
