I am selling my 2003 Z4, which has been my daily driver for the last 5 years, as I have just taken delivery of a new car and cannot justify having another car only for weekend use.
It was converted to LPG before I purchased it so it is very cheap to run. Over the last 5 years I have averaged 35.3 mpg; so, with LPG being around half that of petrol, it feels like you’re getting about 65-70 mpg!
It has been a great car and thoroughly enjoyable to drive, particularly in the summer with the roof down.
I switched the original wheels for genuine BMW MV2 wheels. I have installed a pioneer stereo unit with usb/Bluetooth but the original stereo unit it included. The private plate comes with the car too.
Being a 20 year old car it is not in perfect condition. There are some stone chips on the bumper, a couple of small scrapes and lacquer peel on the bonnet. But, it has been been periodically polished/waxed and the whole car was clay barred this week. It will also be polished and buffed once the weather permits.
The convertible top is in great shape, no leaks and works perfectly. As with the paint, I have periodically used autoglym soft top cleaner and protector to prevent green algae.
