1979 Fender Stratocaster with its original Fender case

Up for sale my 1979 Fender Stratocaster in a very nice already aging to Cream White finish. There are a few marks here and there on this guitar, I have tried to show all angles in the photos but overall it’s not too bad for a 44 year old and now vintage musical instrument.
The tuners were previously changed to grovers (probably better in terms of tuning!) & the neck has also had a jumbo re-fret and a refinish in nitro lacquer, which feels very nice to play. The headstock with the Fender serial number has not been refinished at the front and so remains as the original factory serial number & decal
This is the third time in a year I have put this guitar up for sale, but I’m fairly sure now it’s only going to be the two times I change my mind. It’s a very nice Stratocaster I think, it’s light for a 70’s Strat at 7lbs 12oz & I’ve always liked the middle pick-up on this guitar just as much as the neck pick-up, but for some reason I’m not a Strat guy and don’t think I ever will be. It’s not this particular Strat (I keep coming back to it) I’m just more at one with a 1984 Japanese Fender Telecaster Custom E series, everything I want a Fender for I can play on this guitar
Polite request for enquiries, I’m not currently looking for any offers on the £1700 asking price for the guitar and case and I would very much like cash on collection. I am happy to answer any questions on the guitar but ultimately it will need to be collected due to the value
